Mrs. McHale received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and French in 1988 from Middlebury College, located in Middlebury, Vermont. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Mercer University School of Law, Macon, Georgia, in 1991. She obtained her Board Certification in Civil Trial Law in 2005.

Mrs. McHale was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1992. Mrs. McHale is a Board Certified Civil trial attorney as designated by the Florida Bar. She is a member of the Palm Beach County and Martin County Bar Associations. She is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, PLUS, the Defense Research Institute and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. Mrs. McHale is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mrs. McHale is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

Mrs. McHale authored a chapter entitled "A Defense Evaluation: A New Perspective" in Evaluating and Settling Personal Injury Claims written by Michael J. McHale, Esquire. She was awarded the 2004 Elder Law award from the Palm Beach County Legal Aid Society.

She was the Chairwoman of the Susan G. Komen South Florida Affiliate’s Race for the Cure 2005. She is a Past President of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches, an organization of women who promote voluntarism. Mrs. McHale was an honoree for the Woman Volunteer of the Year Award in 2005. Mrs. McHale is also active in the community through organizations which promote child abuse awareness and other issues involving children. She has served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as the Center for Children in Crisis, the Friends of John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Quantum House, Cities in Schools, and the South Florida Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Mrs. McHale is concentrating her practice in professional liability construction litigation, premises liability, negligent security, municipal litgation and employment litigation. Her hospitality practice includes representation of resorts in all stages of the litigation process including assisting with risk management issues and claims resolution prior to litigation.

Mrs. McHale received her Martindale-Hubbell AV Rating in 2005. The "AV" designation represents the highest rating for legal ability and adherence to ethical standards, professional reliability, and diligence.

Mrs. McHale joined Adams, Coogler, Watson, Merkel, Barry & Kellner, P.A. in 1991, becoming a shareholder in 1999.
